Arthur George Morrison (1863-1945) was an English author and journalist, known for his realistic novels. Morrison wrote detective short stories. Three volumes of Martin Hewitt stories were published before the publication of his most famous novel A Child of the Jago (1896). Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, DL (1859-1930) was a Scottish author. He is most noted for his stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes. He was a prolific writer whose other works include science fiction stories, historical novels, plays, poetry, and non-fiction.
