Paul Leland Haworth (1876-1936) was an American author, born at West Newton, Ind. He graduated from Indiana University in 1899. He was a member of the faculties of several schools and colleges, including Columbia and Bryn Mawr. In 1918-19 he was acting professor of history at Indiana University and was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives in 1920-21. He made exploratory trips to the Canadian Rockies and discovered new mountains and lakes in 1916 and 1919. He was the author of:

  • The Path of Glory (1911)
  • America in Ferment (1915)
  • George Washington, Farmer (1915)
  • The United States in Our Own Times, 1865-1920 (revised, 1924)
  • Trail Makers in the Northwest (1921)
