Mary Raymond Shipman Andrews (1860-1936),Was an american writer. Best known for the widely read short story about Abraham Lincoln, often printed as a small volume, The Perfect Tribute, she was born at Mobile, Alabama,and married Charles S. Andrews, judge of the New York Court of Appeals. She published many works between 1906 and 1930.[1] The Andrews had one child. Their estate, Wolf Hollow, is extant at Taunton, New York.
