Mary Emma Woolley (July 13, 1863 – September 5, 1947) was an American educator, peace activist and women's suffrage supporter. She served as the 11th President of Mount Holyoke College from 1900-1937. She taught at Wheaton Seminary before becoming one of the first women to receive a B.A. from Brown University in 1894 and her M.A. from Brown in 1895. She taught Bible history at Wellesley College from 1895-1900. While writing her autobiography, she suffered a stroke in 1944. She died in Westport, New York. See also
