Jean (or Joanny) Bricaud, (February 11, 1881 - February 24, 1934), also known as Tau Jean II, was a French student of the occult and esoteric matters. From 1916 he was head of the Ordre Martiniste.

Heavily involved in the French neo-Gnostic movement, Jean Bricaud was the Patriarch of the Gnostic Catholic Church and a central figure in the various lines of its apostolic succession. He was a spiritual heir of Jules Doinel (Valentinus II).
