Edward Bradley (1827–1889) was an English novelist and clergyman. He was born in Kidderminster and educated at Durham University (from which he took his pen name). He wrote under the name of Cuthbert M. Bede, B.A. a few novels and tales, Fairy Fables (1858), Glencraggan (1861), Fotheringhay (1885), etc. His most popular book was The Adventures of Mr. Verdant Green, on the experiences of an Oxford undergraduate.
