Andrew Kennedy Hutchison Boyd (November 3, 1825 - March 1, 1899), miscellaneous writer, son of Rev. Dr. Boyd of Glasgow, originally intended for the English Bar, but entered the Church of Scotland, and was minister latterly at St. Andrews, wrote in Fraser's Magazine a series of light, chirping articles subsequently collected as the Recreations of a Country Parson (1862), also several books of reminiscences, etc., written in a pleasant chatty style, and some sermons. He was D.D. and LL.D.

An excerpt from Recreations of a Country Parson, selected and introduced by Paul Collins, appears in the boxed literary magazine Dancing Star, vol 26 (2002) as a 12-page standalone booklet titled "Early Morning at the Station".
