Literate Lifetime

"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." -- W. Fusselman
Looking for something great (and free) to read? Enter an author's name and/or a key word from a book title to search for entries in our database of public domain works.

There's a tonne of great literature available on the internet.

If you know what you're looking for, there are dozens of sites that provide you with the downloads. However, if you're just browsing for a good book or an author you haven't read before, there isn't much information about the books to help you make a decision. Typically, you might bounce between a site like Project Gutenberg, which had thousands of high-quality, free texts, and a site like Amazon.com, which can tell you a bit about the content of the books.

What's different about Literate Lifetime?

We've done some of the investigation for you. Along with links that direct you to the downloads in which you're interested, we've also gathered information about the books from multiple sources to provide you with lots of details. We've got reviews, summaries, categories, author information, reader comments, related books, and more.
