However, if you're just browsing for a good book or an author you haven't read before, there isn't much information about the books to help you make a decision. Typically, you might bounce between a site like Project Gutenberg, which had thousands of high-quality, free texts, and a site like Amazon.com, which can tell you a bit about the content of the books.
